To see the most snow, go to Buffalo NY.
If you want to see beautiful snowy mountain scenes - upstate Vermont, Colorado high country, Mt Rainer in Washington state, Lake Tahoe, CA - come to mind.
You can get snow almost anywhere - I've been in Houston when it snowed. Most southern regions will get a dusting of snow, that will melt within 12-24 hours of falling.
To see snow that sticks around for awhile - upstate NY.
does it snow in south carolina and are there mountains to snowboard?
im moving there next month and in north carolina theres snow so does it snow in south carolina
I live in Florida now, but I lived in Greenville, SC for 12 years. We would get snow maybe 2-3 times a winter, but it never lasted long, and there wasn't very much. I'm not aware of any mountains that are open for snowboarding. We actually had more ice than snow. Also, our mountains were more like the foothills for the smoky mountains, so you would find mountains and snow more likely in NC and TN. I've been to Wolf Laurel once to ski. It was more icy than snowy. I don't think you will find SC the snowboarding capital of the world, but it is a beautiful, and great place to live. The people are so nice. Near the ocean, it is way too much like Florida. (Blech!)

Does it EVER snow in Eastern North Carolina near Camp Lejeune?
I am living in Florida and I am moving to Camp Lejeune because my fiance is going into the Marines. I was just wondering if that town has every season like western North Carolina does in the mountains where I grew up. Does it ever snow there?
Western North Carolina gets the most snow, followed by central. The farther east you go through the state, the less snow you will see. However, not too long ago, Cape Hatteras received a foot of snow, so anywhere in North Carolina is very capable of seeing snow.
